6-8p at FEVERHEAD
We will focus on exercises to refine movement and composition. It will be an enriching experience as we play with spatial relationships, reaction time/quality and movement/sound.
We will use a culmination of techniques to warm up and improve mindfulness in group movement, namely: Skinner Release, butoh, modern dance, post-modern dance and viewpoints.
My experience comes from my formal studies at Denison University as well as from studying with choreographers such as Daniel Lepkoff, Steve Paxton, Katsura Kan, Tadashi Endo, Jill Sigman, Mats Ek, Adrienne Hawkins and Merce Cunningham.
Drop-ins welcome, no registration required
Ilke has also worked with a contact improvisation group that is a collective of osu dance students and community members. movement researchwith is presented by FEVERHEAD as a final offering at 1199 Goodale Blvd. We will remain for the event – please come help us say goodbye to our funky little magic space by celebrating it the way it started – with DAAAANCINNNG !
